PILOT PROJECT – RUNNING DETAILS

Reduce Vehicle Running Costs

In a global economic down-turn, many companies have to resort to cost saving measures. Company turn-over and probably margins are reducing and therefore running costs need to be looked at much closer. It is probably the time to retain and maintain current vehicles in preference to replacements.

One of the most effective cost saving areas that could be considered in any vehicle would be the engine. The engine produces the power to move pay-loads, passengers or raw materials between destinations. Engine maintenance starts with the fuel used to drive the engine for power and the oil used to lubricate the engine to prevent wear.

The logical approach therefore would be to utilize the fuel to introduce a catalyst into the engine. This catalyst has the ability to remove any carbon deposits from injectors and turbo, lubricate pistons and rings and improve fuel combustion that ultimately converts heat produced in an engine to either increase power or improve fuel consumption. This depends entirely on how the additional power is utilized and can benefit both ways, viz. a reduction in fuel consumption or if more power is used, it should reduce delivery times.
Similarly, the engine oil is the carrier of a metal surface smoothing treatment product to reduce friction between the pistons, sleeves, rings and bearings for longer engine life and improved fuel economy.

At this point we would like to introduce EnviroFuels LLC. Since 2002, they have developed two products that have been extensively tested with exceptional results by companies such as Caterpillar, Rio Tinto and various others. The products are: -

  1. Diesel Fuel Catalyser (DFC); a product that is introduced into fuel, improving the combustion process and thereby increasing fuel economy and reducing exhaust emissions.
  2. Lubricant Technology Package (LPT); an engine lube oil treatment that maximizes the performance, protection and life of engine oil and through its lubricity assists in the engines fuel economy.

A recent test conducted with DFC on a CAT-3406-C engine by CEE LLC (California Environmental Engineering, Tel No 001 713 821 9604) has achieved up to 10% (plus) improvement in fuel economy and significant reductions in exhaust emissions.

Pilot Project
Actual savings can only be established by conducting individual tests per client, therefore the Pilot Project. We have attached a Fuel Consumption Survey form suitable for 6-vehicles that can be completed with all the relevant information that would be required for a budget quotation for the Pilot Project.
Please complete the form and submit. CWRM will contact you to discuss the proposal. Should you require any assistance in completing the form, please contact Sigi at 011 314 3950 or email to info@cwrmglobal.co.za.

ENVIROFUELS – 80% UP TO REDUCTION IN EXHAUST EMISSIONS

Introduction
EnviroFuels was formed in December of 2002 to acquire and further develop the technology that improves the performance of internal combustion engines and other assets. Since 2002, EnviroFuels has continually developed the technology, expanded its intellectual property portfolio, installed rigid quality controls, and assembled a highly talented management and technical team to ensure the future success of the company.
EnviroFuels manufactures and markets patented fuel and lubricant technology to industrial and consumer markets. Since its inception, EnviroFuels has continually proven its products in various industrial platforms including, but not limited to aggregates, construction, dredging, drilling, food transportation, marine, mining, oil & gas, power, and railroad, consistently providing Improved fuel efficiency, reduced combustion emissions, minimized engine wear, and ULSD Solutions.
The two products that are described in this literature are EnviroFuels DFC (Diesel Fuel Catalyser) a fuel borne technology product and EnviroFuels LTP (Lubricant Technology Package) an engine lube oil treatment.

Diesel Fuel Catalyser (DFC)
EnviroFuels DFC is an application-engineered, fuel borne technology that utilizes proprietary technology to produce EPA verified results. When EnviroFuels DFC is introduced into fuel, it improves the combustion process and reduces friction, increasing fuel economy while reducing emissions and engine wear.

This principle is based on ….. Energy = Work + Heat, i.e. Heat is converted into Work.

Unlike additives such as cetane enhancers, alcohols, or metal-based catalysts that seek to alter the fuel, EnviroFuels DFC fuel-borne technology uses the fuel as a carrier into the combustion chamber.
This patented technology utilizes two processes to positively impact the engine; a catalytic reaction and a surface conversion. The catalytic reaction optimizes the heat release rate, which leads to increased power, reduced emissions, and increased fuel efficiency. The surface conversion forms inorganic polymer complexes that convert the surfaces of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. These complexes smooth and passivate the metal surface, improve reflectivity (emissivity), and reduce oxygen reactivity, resulting in a reduction of friction and a more complete combustion reaction.

Lubricant Technology Package (LTP)
EnviroFuels LTP is a patented, premium quality, zinc and chorine-free engine lube oil treatment that maximizes the performance, protection, and life of engine oil. The patented technology in EnviroFuels LTP creates a surface conversion on ferrous and non-ferrous metals using inorganic polymer complexes. These complexes smooth and passivate the metal surface and reduce oxygen reactivity, resulting in a reduction of friction and higher oxidation resistance.

Protection of the Environment
In 2005, EnviroFuels completed extensive testing on its patented technology with the Greenhouse Gas Technology Centre (GHG Centre). The GHG Centre is an Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Organization sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and other public and private institutions. The GHG Centre locates promising greenhouse gas mitigation and monitoring technologies, subjects them to independent third-party performance testing, and provides performance results to the public free of charge.

EnviroFuels Background
EnviroFuels, LLC (EnviroFuels) provides the first stand-alone, patented and EPA-verified technology that reduces harmful combustion emissions while simultaneously increasing diesel engine efficiency and performance. EnviroFuels diesel technology is the industry’s premier solution to volatile fuel costs, engine component wear, regulatory emissions standards, and operational challenges related to biodiesel and ULSD fuels. EnviroFuels was formed in December 2002, to acquire and further develop the technology that improves the performance of internal combustion engines and other assets. Since
that time, EnviroFuels has continually developed the technology, filed several additional patents, installed rigid quality systems, and assembled a highly talented management and research and development team to ensure the future success of the company. EnviroFuels manufactures its patented products at ISO 9001-certified facilities located in the Houston area.

Markets
EnviroFuels manufactures and markets patented fuel and lubricant technology to the dredging, marine, mining, oil & gas, and rail industries across various engine platforms. In numerous field and laboratory tests, EnviroFuels has consistently demonstrated increases in fuel efficiency and power, while reducing costs and emissions.
EnviroFuels has two commercialized, proven products containing its patented technology: EnviroFuels DFC, an application-engineered, fuel-borne technology; and EnviroFuels LT P, a zinc and chlorine-free, patented lube oil treatment.

EnviroFuels DFC: EPA-Verified Technology
EnviroFuels DFC (DFC) is an application-engineered chemical compound that utilizes proprietary technologies to improve combustion catalytically and change the surface chemistry of diesel engine combustion chambers reducing friction and oxidation-related energy loss. DFC also improves fuel quality by improving the lubricity and increasing the conductivity of diesel fuel. The combination of these and other favourable combustion characteristics of the chemical species present in DFC result in significant reductions in fuel consumption and harmful emissions. These benefits were verified through the U.S. EPA’s Environmental Technology Verification (ETV ) Program.
